Updates to Invoicing, HPPs and Paylinks.

By on
You know how some people are already off for the year? Yeah, that memo never reached us.

We’ve got way too much reseller happiness to deliver to take a week off, so we’ve been busy in the kitchen rolling out new features and fresh functionality, right down to the wire.

Here’s the latest release from your favorite 💖 (and hopefully only) gateway:

First up, updates to Invoicing:

This much-loved feature just got a shiny new upgrade. Starting today, invoice reminder emails can be set to go out on any number of days before and after an invoice’s due date. Previously, reminders were available only at 5 or 10 days. Now, merchants decide exactly when they’re sent.

To set reminder emails, navigate to Control Panel > Invoice Settings.

Same great invoicing experience. Now with more flexibility and control. 💪🏼

Next up, big changes to Hosted Payment Pages:

We’ve got not one, but two solid updates to HPPs, so it’s a good day all around. Let’s start with what’s new in Generate Pay Link.

Generate Pay Link lets merchants create a customized Hosted Payment Page link with prefilled transaction details, then send it directly to customers by email or text. The customer opens the link and lands on a payment page that’s already set up for that specific transaction.

What’s new: Merchants can now mark these links as one-time use. Once a payment is completed, the link automatically expires. That means no accidental repeat payments and no confusion from customers clicking an old link.

You’ll find this option as a “One time use” checkbox in the Pay Link pop-up under Payment Pages.

But wait, there’s more! 💥

Pay Links have officially landed in our dev-favorite API docs! Developers and integrators now have direct access to the Generate Pay Link functionality via API (including one time use), as long as there’s a live payment page on the account. This makes it easy to bring the power of Hosted Payment Pages into any application.

Developers will find a new Payment Pages tab in the left-hand sidebar of the API documentation.

How’s that for ending the year with a bang? 😎
